COATING FORMING FURNACES AND DEVICES ON THE BASIS OF POWDER COATING

FUNCTIONAL FURNACES

JSC "ELEM'" machine-building plant designs and produces:

convection, thermo - radiation, dead-end and passage furnaces with working capacity

ranged 1,7 -50m2 designed for:

"ELEM" also produces UF-polymerization devices designed for the forming of coatings on the basis of powder paints hardened by UF- radiation.

"ELEM" furnaces are used as components of automatic paint conveyors, coating surface preparation, shops and sections of powder manual painting.

"ELEM" furnaces are designed to work on electricity, gas and fluid fuel.

Special advantage of "ELEM" furnaces is their low maintenance costs achieved owing to original design solutions, established management system based on more, than 30 years experience in designing and production of furnaces for special applications.

 

Convection furnaces for melting and polymerization

"ELEM" convection furnaces for melting and polymerization are functionally designed for forming of coatings on the basis of thermo-reactive and thermo-plastic powder paints. The furnaces ensure parts' heating by means of hot air and maintenance of the necessary level of temperature within the set time. Accuracy of temperature level maintenance, its uniformity in the furnace's area make it possible to achieve best results of the coating forming process.

Electric convection melting and polymerization "ELEM" furnaces

are of modular self-bearing design featuring heat insulation made out of fireproof materials, furnace modules are integrated with electric heating devices comprising circulation fans. Control unit is mounted directly on furnace housing or separate (for furnaces being part of conveyers).

Furnaces' design ensures:

Possibility to mount running ways of the transportation system (conveyor) within the furnace Equipment with slide (drive) or wide open door type

Module consequent connection option to obtain required furnace extension (up to 15 meter long).

Convection melting and polymerization furnaces running on hard fuel

Feature self-bearing design made out of "sandwich" type panels insulated with fireproof low-inertial materials. They also have heating device comprising fire-chamber, heat-exchanger and fan, incl.: burners, sensors and system of safe and saving burning mode to ensure indirect heating. The heating device is connected with the furnace housing by heat insulated air pipes with connection flanges for smoke removal system. The control unit is mounted directly on the housing of the furnace or separately ( for furnaces within conveyors).

Thermo- radiation furnaces

Heating of processing parts is achieved by means UF-radiation

Due to direct radiation energy transfer to the processing part without energy carrier (hot air) the process of the part's heating is considerably higher compared to the same of the convection furnaces. The same refers to the coefficient of efficiency being higher owing reduction of the heating time.

Thermo- radiation furnaces ensure specific radiation power of 22kWt/v2, feature self-bearing design, the source of IR radiation are special IR radiation rod emitters.

Design of the furnaces ensures:

"ELEM" also produces thermo-radiation furnaces of other types, including short-waved.

UF devices for polymerization of coatings

The existing powder paint method for painting of themo-sensible parts and materials - plastics, MDF along with massive metallic parts and electric machines in assembly (electric motors) demands following consequence of operations:

  1. Powder spraying paint by one of the known methods

  2. Powder paint melting in convection or thermo-radiation furnace ( heating combination is possible) up to approximately 110C.

  3. Polymerization of the coating by UF radiation within some seconds.

For polymerization of coatings "ELEM" plant produces UF -radiation devices, that are modules with the powerful UF radiation lamps installed inside of the modules.
